its hard to come to terms with the fact that my reality is not a joke anymore. ive always been humble, thought that im not really in the real world because im not grown up. all the little dramas that happen, the serious relationships that arent, the dreams and plans that all fall through. everythings become so real. all the friendships formed throughout high school are at their final stages, nothing much is going to change in the year to come. ill be 18 years old. seans out of high school. me and sean will have been together 2.5 years. when i think about it, its just assumed that we’ll make it work. i feel that we love each other enough to get through all the tough situations were going to be put through. any other couple would be freaking out if one of them was headed off to china for a month, but one month doesn’t feel like that big of a deal to me when we have our whole lives.
i could say im scared of whats to come in the next decade, but im not. the best part of my life is dawning on me. friends, trips, senior year, college, first jobs, apartments. freedom. happiness. i wish everyone else was as happy as me.
